How do I make a sound?
On iPhone, press a piano key and use your device's volume buttons to adjust the loudness. Tap the grid button to switch to the chord board; the app remembers which one you left open. On iPad, play both hands together; Easy Play keeps the air flowing while you slide across the bellows to play softer or louder.
What does the key wheel change?
On the concert accordion, the wheel moves the left-hand Stradella board into another key. The piano keyboard keeps its original notes. The free student accordion stays in C, with basses and major chords. On smaller screens, use the grid button to switch from piano keys to chords.
Why can’t I hear anything?
Turn up the device volume with the side buttons or Control Center. Turn on Easy Play or move the bellows while holding a note. If sound is routed to headphones or another device, check that connection too.
Can I play on an ordinary iPhone or iPad?
Yes. On iPhone, switch between piano keys and the chord board. On iPad, both sides of the instrument are visible, with Easy Play enabled by default. Easy Play stays as you set it, even after you visit Settings or close the app; Settings › Reset settings returns it to the default. This initial release uses touch controls, including on folding devices.
Does it need an internet connection?
The included accordion sounds and tune work offline. When available, new recordings and tunes are downloaded by the operating system from Apple. You can keep playing with the built-in content.
How do I change the language?
Duo Accordion follows your preferred supported language. You can change an app’s language in the iOS Settings app. It supports English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Indonesian, Thai and Malay.
What does the Concert Accordion add?
Minor and seventh chords and more bass rows (as many as your screen holds), the endless key wheel, and three more registers: Musette, Cello and Master. It is a one-time purchase with no subscription. To try it before buying, tap a register with a lock, the “Unlock the concert accordion” plate on the chord board, or Settings › Instrument › Unlock the concert accordion.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open Settings › Instrument › Restore purchase, or tap Restore purchase under the Buy button on the Concert Accordion page, and sign in with the Apple Account you used to buy it.
